Between 2022 and 2025, BTS entered Chapter 2, their solo era. Each member released their own albums, toured around the world, and built their own unique style while completing military service.

1. RM Solo Projects

RM started Chapter 2 with Indigo in December 2022. This personal album featured collabs with Anderson Paak and Erykah Badu. His second solo album, Right Place Wrong Person, came out in May 2024. It had experimental sounds and deep lyrics.

The RM Right People Wrong Place Documentary was released later that year. We got to see how he creates music. His collab single Neva Play with Megan Thee Stallion dropped in late 2024. It mixed hip-hop with smart wordplay. 

In 2026, RM worked on an art project with SFMOMA, bringing together visual art and music. He’s one of the fastest rappers in K-pop and keeps trying new things.

2. Jin Solo Projects

Jin released The Astronaut in October 2022. This Coldplay collab became an emotional goodbye before he enlisted. The fun Super Tuna got a full version release in 2024. It showed his playful side, which works great in music.

His mini album Happy dropped in November 2024, then the full album Echo came out in May 2025. Echo showed off his vocal range across rock and ballad songs. 

The RUNSEOKJIN EP TOUR Fan Con World Tour in 2025 brought his funny energy to stages worldwide. He sold out arenas with fan games and live performances.

3. SUGA Agust D Solo Projects

Suga released D DAY in April 2023. This completed his Agust D trilogy with honest storytelling and powerful beats. The Agust D D DAY World Tour in 2023 was his first solo tour. He brought intense performances to 25 cities.

D DAY The Movie Concert Film came out in 2024. It captured the tour’s energy for fans who couldn’t go. His talk show Suchwita ran from 2022 to 2024. He had real conversations with other artists. 

During military service, Suga worked on production that helped create BTS’s ARIRANG comeback.

4. j-hope Solo Projects

j-hope is one of the best K-pop dancers out there. He released Jack In The Box in July 2022, a dark hip-hop project. The album got a HOPE Edition repackage in 2023.

His single “On The Street” with J. Cole came in March 2023 as a pre-enlistment gift. Hope On The Street Vol 1 Album and Docuseries dropped in March 2024. It celebrated street dance culture with dancers from around the world. 

In 2025, he released Sweet Dreams, Mona Lisa, and Killin’ It Girl. These three singles showed different music styles. His Hope On The Stage World Tour in 2025 made over $84 million. That proved his solo star power is huge.

5. Jimin Solo Projects

Jimin debuted with FACE in March 2023. This album explored identity and pressure in a raw way. Like Crazy became the first Korean solo song to hit No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 in 2023.

His pre-enlistment gift Closer Than This dropped later that year. MUSE came out in July 2024. It featured the viral track Who and showed how much his vocals have grown. 

The Are You Sure travel show with Jungkook aired in 2024. Fans loved seeing their fun moments during the military hiatus. His emotional performance style defined his solo identity.

6. V Solo Projects

V released Layover in September 2023. This jazz and R&B album highlighted his deep voice. The Friends single, released in March 2024, celebrated his friendship with Jimin.

Winter Ahead with Park Hyo Shin came in November 2024. It blended soul and jazz beautifully. 

His global brand work grew in 2025-2026. He represented Celine, Cartier, TirTir, and Paradise City. He walked at Vogue World Hollywood in 2025, proving he’s a fashion icon. 

In 2026, he released a photobook called TYPE 非. It showed his visual art side.

7. Jungkook Solo Projects

Jungkook burst onto the solo scene with Seven featuring Latto, in July 2023. It dominated charts everywhere. His debut album Golden dropped in November 2023, with Standing Next to You as the title track.

Never Let Go came out in June 2024 as a fan song celebrating BTS’s 11th anniversary. Jung Kook I Am Still Documentary premiered in 2024. It captured how he creates music. 

The Golden The Moments Global Exhibition toured from 2024 to 2025, including a stop in India. I went to see it and watched thousands of fans celebrate his artistry through cool installations.

Jungkook, the Golden Maknae of K-pop, wrapped up his solo promotions in late 2025 before the group reunion. His global exhibition toured sold-out venues everywhere.

BTS Solo Projects Highlights 2025 to 2026

Jin’s Echo album and world tour showed how much he had grown as a vocalist and performer. j-hope’s 2025 singles proved he can do any music style before starting his massive world tour. 

RM’s global art project with SFMOMA pushed the line between music and visual art. Jungkook’s solo tour before reunion became the highest-earning K-pop solo tour of 2025.
